This new 60,000 square foot elementary was built in 1993 in west-central Denver to replace the 1907 Westwood School building. The school was named after former Colorado State Legislator, Richard T. Castro. The new elementary includes classrooms, kitchen, cafeteria, gym, administrative offices, computer lab and playgrounds.
